Katie Understands that Clothes do not make the Horse

Katie understands the unique challenges of being a miniature horse or Shetland pony.

Dear Katie, I’m a 47 inch Shetland pony.  I am very frustrated with the clothes I have to wear.  I look like Spaceman Spiff ready for take off.  This is humiliating.  Why do they keep dressing me up and how do I make them stop? Signed, Unfashionable

Dear Unfashionable,  they are trying to keep you clean so you can go to a show.  The key is to make it so you don’t go to any shows.  When they try to get you in the trailer, refuse to go in.  If they get you in, and make you go in a class, refuse to move.  No one can make a pony move. Soon you will get to stay home and eat grass. – Katie

Katie must have spoken to all the ponies I rode growing up….many of them utilized the “refuse to move” tactic! haha

LOL I think the pony mothers pass it down to their babies.

What do you think?
