Katie Knows That All Friendships Are Not Equal

Dear Katie, I am 17 hand draft horse.  My owner recently brought home a miniature horse as a friend for me.  The miniature horse, however, is not very friendly.  He puffs himself up to twice his normal size and bites at me whenever I sniff him over the fence.  He escapes into my paddock and tries to eat all my hay.  What can I do?  Signed,  A Ton of Fun

Dear Ton, If you want to be friends with a miniature horse, you must acknowledge him as your leader and let him eat your hay.  Or you can whinny until your owner comes out and puts him back in his fence.  But he probably won’t stay.  If your owner was wise, he would have gotten you a draft horse instead.- Katie
